I am a Utah native who has always been fascinated by real estate and houses. As a professional genealogist I’ve spent time rambling through old family homes, and graveyards, which are real estate as well!
I love computers and researching on the internet and am still amazed at the amount of information available. This could be a kick back to the years I spent looking at microfilms in dusty libraries and now… now so much of it is available at the click of a button.

I moved to the Lake Powell area 17 years ago and love it here. About a year ago my 18 year old son and I were driving from Page, AZ, the 17 miles to Big Water, UT and he commented “Look ma, we live in a National Geographic Magazine”. He is right. It is breathtakingly beautiful here. A month later we were at a dentist office in Saint George, Utah, and guess what was on the glass table in the waiting room. Yes! A National Geographic Magazine with a picture of the Lake Powell area right on the front. Apparently my son saw the same thing in the beauty of where we live as National Geographic did.
